COMBINED DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM SUMMARY: FY 98-99 REQUEST <br />LIQUOR CONTROL AGENCY <br />DISCUSSION RE: PRIOR FY 96-97 AND FY 97-98 <br />1. WITH RESPECT TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS AND YOUR CURRENT AND PRIOR FY'S OBJECTIVES, IS THERE <br />ANYTHING THAT IS PREVENTING OR HINDERING YOU FROM ACCOMPLISIIING YOUR OBJECTIVES? No. <br />2. LIST MAJOR DEPARTMENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN FY 96-97 AND FY 97-98. <br />INITIATED a Regulatory Inspection program for all licensees. The purpose of the <br />inspections is three -fold: <br />1. To determine a licensee's compliance to certain basic requirements of the liquor laws <br />2. To obtain information relating to business practices which will be used to determine <br />educational, audit or other appropriate programs. <br />3. To educate licensees of rule requirements and distribute educational materials <br />including new permitting procedures. <br />The compliance program provides that any negative results obtained during the inspection <br />will result in a "Warning Citation" and provides a 45 -day compliance period without <br />penalty. <br />9 <br />
