An initial
appropriation of $1,200,000 was approved last year and that represented the Federal
Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) funding for the repair work for damages
resulting from the October 15, 2006 Kiholo earthquake. At that time, only estimates were
available from the State Civil Defense and FEMA. With most of the projects' amounts now
known, this bill increases the FEMA project appropriation to $2,050,000.

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Deanna Sako, Controller.

William Tak a
Director of Finance

APPROVED:

4/laf LTV
Harry Kim
Mayor

Enc.

cc: Deanna Sako, Controller Comm.
aZo1~ Ref.
