No. 831/Res. 433-07 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br /> 78-128 Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> <br /> TIME: 8:56 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Public Works & Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred in <br /> <br /> Communication 831, regarding Resolution 433-07, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution 433-07, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Craig T. Masuda, via Communication No. 831, <br /> <br /> dated November 20, 2007, accepting the dedication of Road Lots "A", "B" and "C," being portions of <br /> <br /> Tax Map Keys: (3)2-4-010:001 and 132, situate at Waiakea, District of South Hilo, County and State of <br /> Hawaii, from Kahaopea'03, LLC. <br /> Kahaopea '03, LLC, is desirous of dedicating the subject parcels, including all subdivision improvements <br /> thereon, to the County of Hawaii for road and drainage purposes, and the improvements have been inspected <br /> and approved by the County of Hawaii Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply, and the <br /> Planning Department. <br /> Article XIII, § 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council may accept gifts which include <br /> <br /> the dedication of land on behalf of the County of Hawaii. <br /> <br /> There was no testimony from members of the public regarding the proposed acceptance. <br /> Deputy Corporation Counsel Craig T. Masuda appeared before your Committee.
