Ms. Maedo is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She has been a <br /> financial advisor since 2002 and presently works at LPL Financial. From 1969 to 2000, <br /> she was employed by the Department of Education as a teacher and administrator. <br /> Since 2001, Ms. Maedo served as a charter member of the County of Hawai'i Fire <br /> Commission; her term expired on December 31, 2007. <br /> <br /> Ms. Maedo is a board member of the Hospice of Hilo and the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo <br /> Betsuin. She is also the current recording secretary of the Hawai'i Island Retired <br /> Teachers Association.
