<br /> <br /> <br /> MtV 01 <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> A . <br /> !~r <br /> ij.•O,•M,,'. <br /> BILL NO. <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED) RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-256, schedule 4 (30 mile per <br /> <br /> hour limit), subsection (f) Kona, item (3), of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br /> amended), is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "(3) Mamalahoa Highway, from a point four thousand one hundred feet in a <br /> southerly direction from the terminus of the State Highway at Honalo to <br /> the terminus of the State Highway at Captain Cook" <br /> <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-255, schedule 3 (25 mile per <br /> <br /> hour limit), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition), is amended by <br /> adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read: <br /> <br /> <br /> "O Mamalahoa Highway, from the terminus of the State Highway at Honalo <br /> to a point four thousand one hundred feet in a southerly direction." <br /> <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material <br /> <br /> and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
