WHEREAS, the county will pay for the cost of consolidating and conveying the property in gratis to the State of Hawaii; and WHEREAS, section 2-120, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) authorizes the County Council to dispose of real property of the county under such terms and conditions that it deems proper; and WHEREAS, a series of maps pertinent to the disposition of this resolution and a copy of~ Executive Order No. 2196 are attached and labeled as "Exhibit A"; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that pursuant to section 2-120, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), the Director of Finance is hereby authorized, upon acquisition of Tax Map Key: (3)8-2-001:072, to convey the same to the State of Hawaii for consolidation with land under Executive Order No. 2196 and resetting aside by executive order for use by the County of Hawaii. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii is directed to transmit copies of this resolution to: (1) Mayor Harry Kim; (2) Finance Director William Takaba; (3) Police Chief Lawrence Mahuna; (4) State of Hawaii Comptroller Russ K.
