The property is located mauka (southwest) of the Sunrise Estates Subdivision, Increment I, Kukuau Is`, South Hilo, Hawaii. The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending favorable consideration of the change of zone: The applicant requests a five-year extension of time to comply with Condition C (final subdivision approval) of Ordinance No. 93 36. Condition C currently reads: "Subdivision plans for the proposed development shall be submitted to the Planning Department within one year from the effective date of the change of zone. Final Subdivision Approval shall be secured within two years from the date of receipt of Tentative Subdivision Approval."
