Nackowski <br /> Tax Man Key: 7-5-10:Portion of 4 <br /> <br /> The Planning Commission, after a duly held public hearing on April 17, 1998, voted to <br /> recommend for your approval the proposed legislative bills for a State Land Use Boundary <br /> Amendment from an Agricultural to Rural district and a Change of Zone by changing the <br /> district classification from Agricultural (A-5a) to Residential/Agricultural (RA-.5a) for <br /> approximately 14.989 acres of land. The project site is located on the west (makai) side of <br /> Hienaloli-Kahului Road, approximately 1,500 feet north of its intersection with Hualalai Road <br /> <br /> and adjacent and north of the Hualalai Colony Subdivision, Puaa 2nd, North Kona, Hawaii. <br /> <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the requests: <br /> <br /> State Land Use Boundary Amendment <br /> <br /> The approval of the reclassification from the State Land Use Agricultural to the <br /> Rural District will not be violative of Section 205-2, Chapter 205, Hawaii Revised <br /> Statutes, nor will it be inconsistent with the Land Use Commission Rules, the County <br /> General Plan and the Hawaii State Plan.
