LINDSEY) <br /> STATE LAND USE BOUNDARY AMENDMENT APPLICATION (SLU 91-120) <br /> CHANGE OF ZONE APPLICATION (REZ 91-30) <br /> <br /> GENESIS K. BELL (FORMERLY MARY H. LINDSEY), has submitted an <br /> <br /> amended application for a Change of Zone by changing the district classification from <br /> Agricultural (A-3a) to Family Agricultural (FA-la), for approximately 3.00 acres of land. <br /> <br /> Also requested is the withdrawal of the State Land Use Boundary Amendment from an <br /> Agricultural to Rural District. The property is located in the south side of Mamalahoa <br /> <br /> Highway across from the Nani Waimea Subdivision, Puukapu, Waimea, South Kohala, <br /> Hawaii, TMK: 6-4-2:148. <br /> <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. Ownership: Genesis K. Bell, etal., are the owners of the subject property. <br /> <br /> BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> <br /> 2. December 19, 1991: The applicant requested a continuance of the application. The <br /> Department of Water Supply had indicated that the existing water system facilities were <br /> <br /> not able to support the proposed subdivision. <br /> 3. March 29, 1993: Amendment to change of zone application which proposed a three <br /> <br /> (3) lot subdivision rather than the original four (4) lots. <br /> 4. February 9, 1998: By letter, the applicant requested to amend the request to change <br /> <br /> the zoning of the subject property to FA-la instead of RA-la. The applicant also <br /> requested to withdraw the State Land Use Boundary Amendment. Also by letter dated <br /> <br /> Febaruary 12, 1998, Mary Lindsey (mother and original applicant) authorized her son, <br /> Genesis Bell, to be the applicant. <br /> <br /> PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> 5. Request: The applicants are proposing a Change of Zone to change the district <br /> classification from Agricultural (A-3a) to Family Agricultural (FA-la), for <br /> <br /> approximately 3.00 acres of land to develop a 3 lot subdivision. <br /> <br /> ATTACH.
