Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 8 ] 2, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 813, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, dated <br />Octoher 18, 2004, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from the Potluckers Golf Club. <br />fhe Potluckers Golf Club has graciously donated $643.00 to the Department of Parks & <br />Recreation for programs at the Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo. <br />Pursuant to Article XIII. Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council. on behalf of the <br />County, may accept gilts or donations of personal property. <br />Also, pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(c), of the Hawaii County Code, any <br />donation or gift which does not fall within the capitalization procedures of the department of <br />finance shall be submitted to the council by letter for its approval. <br />A letter of appreciation will be sent to the Potluckers Golf Club, c/o Lenny Paik, 455 Naniakea <br />Street, Hilo.
