Identify short-term actions and improvements to address existing traffic congestion issues <br />within Waimea town and the surrounding area. <br />2. Evaluate recommended short-term improvements in light of other public and private local <br />roadway improvements and the proposed regional roadway improvements as they relate <br />to the known future development plans within the Waimea area. <br />3. The contract was amended to include the development of a consistent travel demand <br />forecast model applicable to the various State and County roadway projects being <br />planned for the Waimea-Kawaihae area. <br />Comm.
