No. 1039/Bill No. 252 <br />PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br />78-128 Ehukai Street <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br />TIME: 4:53 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 252, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 252, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, via Communication No. 1039, establishes an <br />Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. <br />This balanced budget includes estimated revenues and appropriations of $398,258,830 and <br />includes the operations of eleven of the County's special funds as well as the general fund. This <br />budget is 6.3 percent more than the current year's budget.
