Give reasons how new duties arose (statutes enacted, ordinances, newly <br /> authorized programs, basis for increased workloads, etc.): <br /> <br /> The current contractual position within our office was necessitated due to the <br /> changes to our computer data base coupled with new reporting requirements and <br /> procedures. The need for this position has added urgency today as data entry <br /> requirements for the one-stop resource center will place added requirements on <br /> data entry needs. The HCOA data base will be the central repository for all data <br /> related to the center. <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. Can new duties be assigned to existing positions or handled in other way such as <br /> short term contracts, etc. <br /> <br /> The position has been under contract for over five years now. The soon to be <br /> completed Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will necessitate an on- <br /> going need. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. How will new position increase the efficiency/effectiveness of operations? (Use <br /> productivity measurements where possible.): <br /> <br /> The greatest impact or benefit will be to the general public as application and <br /> referral procedures will be greatly enhanced for greater efficiency.
