(HIVM), anon-profit 501 (c)(3) <br />corporation, for the purpose of establishing a veterans center and housing project to meet the <br />needs of the island's veteran community. <br />While the HIVM has successfully completed Phase 1 of the project (including a Final <br />Environmental Assessment Study and preliminary engineering plans) HIVM requests the <br />$500,000 grant, appropriated in the County's 2008-2009 fiscal year operational budget, in order <br />to progress to Phase 2 of the project. <br />PH/kf <br />Att. <br />~~~ ~~ ~ ~~ cem~. fJo.
