In <br />(SHSP) addition, SHSP supports the implementation of the <br /> National Preparedness Guidelines, the National Incident <br /> Management System (NIMS), and the National Response <br /> Framework (NRF) <br /> UASI Program funds address the unique planning, <br />Urban Areas organization, equipment, training, and exercise needs of <br />Securi#y Initiative high-threat, high-densi#y Urban Areas, and assist them in <br />(UASI) Program building an enhanced and sustainable capacity to prevent, <br /> protect against, respond to, and recover from acts of <br /> terrorism. <br /> MMRS funds enable jurisdictions to further enhance and <br />Metropolitan sustain a comprehensive regional mass casualty incident <br />Medical response capability during the first crucial hours of an <br />Response incident. The program prepares jurisdictions for response <br />System (MMRS) to all-hazards mass casualty incidents, including terrorism, <br />Program naturally occurring events, and large-scale hazardous <br /> materials incidents. <br /> The Citizen Corps mission is to bring community and <br />Citizen Corps government leaders together to coordinate the <br />Program (CCP) involvement of community members in emergency <br /> preparedness, planning, mitigation, response, and <br /> recovery. <br /> <br />
