REQUEST: <br />Requesting a bill for an ordinance to appropriate an additional $14,900 for the Sexual Violence Primary <br />Prevention (SVPP) planning project. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney (OPA), County of Hawaii, has been designated as the contractor for <br />the Hawaii Island Sexual Violence Primary Prevention (SVPP) Planning project. Additional funding is being <br />provided to OPA to implement phase two of the planning process which includes coordination of Hawaii <br />County SVPP stakeholder meetings to elicit input and assure county-level participation in the development of <br />the statewide sexual violence prevention plan.
