Scope of Services Hawaii County Participation in a Statewide Sexual Violence Prevention Planning Process: Coordination and Representation -Phase Two The Department of Health (DOH) Maternal & Child Health Branch will continue to contract for services relating to the planning and development of an initiative for the primary prevention of sexual violence, as provided by the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Cooperative Agreement with the Centers for Disease Control. The contractor will convene a stakeholder committee for the Hawaii County, coordinate the committee, and represent the committee on a statewide Sexual Violence Prevention (SVPP) Planning Committee. Primary prevention is defined as actions taken to prevent sexual violence BEFORE it occurs. Actions to prevent sexual violence include: changes in social/community norms, organizational culture, institutional policy, media messages, etc. For purposes of this grant, victim services do not meet the criteria of primary prevention and are not included in this planning process. The Contractor shall complete the following services, hereinafter called Deliverables, and may invoice for completed Deliverables, for a total of $14,900, according the dollar value shown below: Continue to organize, manage, and staff the Hawaii County Sexual Violence Primary Prevention (SVPP) Stakeholders Committee. This includes: planning and convening seven (7) monthly meetings of the committee and other community sessions to elicit input and assure county-level participation in the development of a statewide sexual violence prevention plan; recording and disseminating notes of the Hawaii County SVPP Stakeholders Committee meetings; and disseminating meetings notes and materials of the statewide SVPP Planning Committee to the Hawaii County SVPP stakeholders Committee. $12,900 Represent the Hawaii County SVPP Stakeholders Committee at four (4) meetings of the SVPP Planning Committee on Oahu (November 2008, and January, March, and May 2009). $ 2,000 Reports on deliverables shall be submitted with invoices for payment. The invoice amount shall reflect the dollar value of the services completed and documented.
