BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> We are requesting the above appropriation in accordance with a resolution which is being introduced by <br /> Councilman Angel Pilago. The Resolution will transfer $2,500 from Council's Contingency Relief Fund to the <br /> Solid Waste Fund, which is to be used as a grant for the The Outdoor Circle dba Kona Outdoor Circle <br /> Kealakehe Green Lei Project. This project will help to provide a visual buffer around our Solid Waste <br /> Facilities at Kealakehe.
