PC- 3 4 Page 2 March 6, 1997 <br /> Your Committee concurs with the following reasons by the Planning Commission and the <br /> Planning Director for recommending a favorable consideration for the boundary amendment <br /> request: <br /> 1. The boundary amendment is consistent with the State Land Use Commission <br /> Rules, the County General Plan and the Hawaii State Plan. <br /> 2. The boundary amendment conforms with the goals. policies and standards of the <br /> General Plan. <br /> 3. The proposed reclassification is consistent with General Plan Land Use pattern <br /> Allocation Guide (LUPAG) Map which designates the area for Urban Expansion. <br /> 4. The Kona Regional Plan recommends the area for residential four units per acre. <br /> 5.
