<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> HPD SPEED ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM <br /> PAGE 3 <br /> <br /> We were able to make 6 of the 7 performance indicators, the only one <br /> not made was issuing 2,500 citations for other violations, but we were <br /> able to issue 668 citations. <br /> <br /> The goal to decrease the number of speeding involved fatals by 15% from <br /> 15 to 13 in FFY 2008 was not met. We had 16 speed involved fatalities in <br /> FFY 2008. The goal to reduce the total number of traffic fatalities by 2 <br /> or 5% from 40 to 38 was met. We surpassed that goal with 26 fatalities in <br /> FFY 2008, a reduction of 14 or 65 The goal to increase the number of <br /> speeding citations by 5% from 8,389 to 8,808 was not only met, but again <br /> surpassed with 12,556 citations. This is an increase of 4,167 citations <br /> or an increase of 49.5%. <br />
