SaAo <br />Deputy Direc~ar <br /> w <br />0 <br />ice) <br />Q,~ ~ <br />r-~_, <br />`- <br />~ ~ <br />n <br />'• <br />t f7 <br /> r <br />~; <br />T ~ _ <br />,- <br />' -~ <br />ffi <br /> <br /> o <br /> -r <br />In accordance with (1) Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, which <br />authorizes the Council, on behalf of the County, to accept gifts or donations of personal <br />property, and with (2) Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (c), of the Hawaii County Code, <br />which states that any donation or gift which does not fall within the capitalization procedures <br />of the department of finance shall be submitted to the council by letter for its approval, we <br />request the Council's approval of the following donations: <br />Two (2) monetary donations (of $83.71 each), totaling $167.42, to the Department of <br />Parks & Recreation, to be used for the primate enrichment at the Pana'ewa Rainforest <br />Zoo & Gardens, by Mr. Jason Takeya, Native FM 95.9, 75-5858 Ali'i Drive.Suite 61 & 62, <br />Beach Building, Kailua-Kona Hawaii 98740 and by Ms. Elisa Young, Hotdog On A Stick, <br />111 East Puainako Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. <br />We ask that a letter of appreciation and acknowledgment of their donation be sent to the <br />donors. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the recipient Department. <br />Nancy .
