REQUEST: <br /> <br /> Amend Ordinance 08-79, the Capital Budget by adding an appropriation to increase the Federal <br /> portion of the Palani Road Safety Improvements (FHWA) project by $686,000. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Due to unforeseen conditions encountered that differed from the original plans and specifications, <br /> Federal-Aid Project funds were requested for the subject project to reflect an increase in the <br /> construction cost.
