No. 329-98 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:30 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to evhich was referred Resolution No. 329-98, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 329-98, transmitted by Director of Personnel Michael R. Ben, via Communication <br /> No. 988.01, dated September Is, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-51, the Salary Ordinance, by deleting <br /> Section 8.02(c) Mass Transportation Agency, Position Number MOOOI, Mass Transit Assistant, SR-20. <br /> Pursuant to Section 76-77(1), Hawaii Revised Statutes, positions in the Office of the Mayor are exempt <br /> from civil service, but these positions shall be included in the position classification plan. Thus, pursuant <br /> to said section classification action was taken to reallocate and to classify position No. MOOOI, Mass <br /> Transit Assistant, SR-2Q to position No. 4125, County Transportation Specialist, SR-22. <br /> Pursuant to Article 3, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, interim amendments to the Ordinance <br /> <br /> establishing the pay plan for the County may be by resolution of the Council provided a revised Salary <br /> Ordinance is enacted at least once annually. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 329-98 and <br /> recommends its adoption. <br /> Ici <br /> 1yn tioec 1lE F.
