2007-2012. One of the second year (2008/2209) priorities for implementation is the formation of <br />a domestic violence task force in each of Hawaii's counties: Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii, and <br />Kauai. <br />Domestic Violence Task Forces <br />A DVTF is a community collaboration of entities and individuals including: domestic violence <br />service providers, law enforcement, government, courts, refugee and immigrant service <br />providers, and other which meets montlily to discuss public policy, systems' change, coordinated <br />community responses, etc. A DVTF provides a forum for networking, information and resource <br />sharing, and assisting in improving services. Individuals aze involved because of their job <br />affiliation, personal interest, commitment, and to network and communicate with colleagues <br />about domestic violence issues. <br />Roles and Responsibilities <br />HSCADV agrees to: <br />• execute MOU with the tiaiaii Qxnty Offioa of the Ptcseaitirx3 Attoxr~, <br />• provide training and technical assistance to the-~lY yiolerroe mterJa`~ee (EVIC) <br />• provide monitoring, <br />• submit programmatic and financial reports in compliance with DOH grant requirements. <br />[~ceii Qanty Office of the Pets~ttirx3 At~ to provide staffing to: <br />• serve as coordinator for the Fdmily Viols Inter-a~ax-y O~co~~ <br />• serve as convener/facilitator of the FVIC meetings and <br />trainings, <br />• keep rewrds for the FyIC <br />• update members through meeting minutes and listservs, <br />• monitor participation, minimize scheduling conflicts, and scrutinize agendas for <br />relevance for participants, <br />• submit an annual budget for projected expensesi, <br />• submit quarterly program evalua*.ion and progress reports, including charting Plan <br />Performance Measures, and providing documentation as required, <br />• submit quarterly financial documentation and reports as needed, <br />• participate in the evaluation process, <br />• participate in annual monitoring, <br />' Budgets must include funding for personnel to staff the DVTF (unless that expense is covered by another funding <br />source) and funding for sending one representative to an Oversight Body meeting once a year. Additional funds, <br />to supplement First Circuit Court funding, may be set aside for sending DVTF members to one statewide meeting <br />and acne-day meeting, followed by a one-day conference on Oahu. <br />
