<br />t <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.. <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />55 <br /> <br />97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORiZiNG TH~ COUNTY O~ HAWAii TO ~NT~R iNTO AN ACR~~M~NT WiTH TH~ <br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE BUREAU OF JUSTICE <br />ASSISTANCE, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR A LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the united States of America through the U.S. Department of Justice <br />Bureau of Justice Assistance, is desirous of providing funding for expenses to <br />purchase a digital logging recorder and, , playback recorder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department is ready and willing to proceed <br />with its obligations under the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to sections 46-7 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the <br />Federal government may enter into agreements with the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />providing the expenditures or receipt of funds or ,for other assistance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the Honorable Stephen K.
