Duties included site assessment, remediation plan preparation, <br />construction management, environmental sampling, and construction quality assurance <br />monitoring (1997-1998); <br />Project Engineer during the first phase of the Rose Hills Memorial Park Disposal Area <br />Project. Major elements included earthworks and construction of a subdrain system. <br />Duties included preparation of construction documents, design report, environmental <br />documentation, site safety plan, regulatory agency coordination, construction <br />management, environmental sampling, construction quality assurance monitoring, and <br />coordination with the site owner's legal and technical representatives (1997-1998); <br />Resident Engineer during the Phase I Final Cover, Grading, and Drainage Project at <br />the City of Phoenix's 27th Avenue Landfill, Phoenix, Arizona. Major elements <br />included processing and placement of a low permeability soil cover layer over <br />approximately 130 acres of prepared subgrade; construction of rock slope protection <br />and concrete drainage improvements; construction of landfill gas monitoring well <br />improvements; and placement of an erosion protection layer. Duties included <br />regulatory agency coordination, construction management and construction quality <br />assurance monitoring (1997); <br />Resident Engineer during the Slurry Trench Wall and Embankment Protection Project <br />at the County of San Bernardino's Colton Landfill, Colton, California. Major <br />elements included construction ofapproximately 800 metres ofcement-bentonite <br />slurry trench wall with an average depth of ] 0 metres; installation of sixteen-ounce <br />geotextile; construction of rip rap/gabion embankment protection; earthworks; <br />miscellaneous drainage improvements; and wetlands mitigation along the border of the <br />Colton Landfill and the Santa Ana River. Duties included preparation of construction <br />documents, construction management and construction quality assurance monitoring <br />(1995-1996); and <br />Resident Engineer during the Royal Boulevard Land Reclamation Project, Torrance, <br />California.
