17. Public Access: There is no record of a designated public access to the shoreline or <br />mountain areas that traverses the property. <br />PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br />18. Access: Access to the site is from Highway 11 to TMK: 1-7-16: 50, an approximately <br />23-acre roadway lot. Highway 11 is under the jurisdiction of the State Department of <br />Transportation. The applicant has provided documentation in the form of a quitclaim <br />deed allowing use of Pazce150 for roadway access and utility purposes. The Department <br />of Public Works (DPW) provided no comment with respect to. the use of the roadway lot <br />for access purposes. <br />19. Water: County water is available to the site from an existing 8-inch waterline within <br />Highway 11, approximately 240 feet from the property. According to the Department of <br />Water Supply, the parcel is currently served by an existing 5/8-inch meter, which is <br />limited to a maximum of 600 gallons per day and suitable for only one single-family <br />dwelling. In order to obtain water for the additional lot, the applicant is required to pay a <br />water commitment deposit. <br />r -- 20. Wastewater: The parcel has a septic tank as well as a cesspool. <br />`~ 21. Solid Waste: Solid waste is disposed of at the Keaau Transfer Station. <br />22.
