17. Public Access: There is no record of a designated public access to the shoreline or mountain areas that traverses the property. PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES 18. Access: Access to the site is from Highway 11 to TMK: 1-7-16: 50, an approximately 23-acre roadway lot. Highway 11 is under the jurisdiction of the State Department of Transportation. The applicant has provided documentation in the form of a quitclaim deed allowing use of Pazce150 for roadway access and utility purposes. The Department of Public Works (DPW) provided no comment with respect to. the use of the roadway lot for access purposes. 19. Water: County water is available to the site from an existing 8-inch waterline within Highway 11, approximately 240 feet from the property. According to the Department of Water Supply, the parcel is currently served by an existing 5/8-inch meter, which is limited to a maximum of 600 gallons per day and suitable for only one single-family dwelling. In order to obtain water for the additional lot, the applicant is required to pay a water commitment deposit. r -- 20. Wastewater: The parcel has a septic tank as well as a cesspool. `~ 21. Solid Waste: Solid waste is disposed of at the Keaau Transfer Station. 22. Essential Utilities and Services: Electricity and telephone services are available to the site.
