Summary of Service <br /> The Caregiver Training and Support Services Project provides support to caregivers of <br /> the frail and vulnerable elderly, aged 60+, in Hawaii County. Surveys are conducted to <br /> profile their service needs, projected service usage, and other demographic data. Home <br /> health related individual and small group training sessions are also provided to caregivers <br /> to assist them in maintaining the elderly within the home, thus reducing the possibility of <br /> premature institutionalization. This project also identifies and provides assistance to <br /> businesses who are interested in providing caregiver support programs for their <br /> employees. <br /> II. Annual Service Levels <br /> Number of caregivers provided with Caregiver support 75 <br /> Number of service hours to be provided 336 <br />
