Update and enforce procedures to <br /> insure database integrity and prompt software and hardware upgrades whenever <br /> necessary. <br /> <br /> During the first part of this year HCOA data staff researched and submitted a <br /> request for proposal to replace its current aging network system. This involves <br /> upgrading the current hardware and software that HCOA has been running for <br /> the past nine years. HCOA data staff has attempted to parallel the replacement <br /> of the old system with the move into the new facility. Expected completion of the <br /> total project is the end of the current 09 Fiscal year. <br /> <br /> <br /> 5. Education/Training <br /> Support and coordinate a minimum of 2 workshops and educational seminars for <br /> Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) service providers and additional <br /> service providers that reflect identified needs of providers in order to assist them in <br /> better serving aging and disabled populations. <br /> <br /> Workshops and/or classes completed July 1, 2008-December 31, 2008 <br /> ? Home Modification <br /> Enable participants to live safer within their own home and help to correct safety <br /> deficits. At least 75% of the clients served will have favorable responses that in- <br /> home safety items and/or adaptations allowed them to remain within their homes in a <br /> safer environment due program services. <br /> <br /> During the period 07/01/08 to 12/31/08, 74 older individuals were served with <br /> 180 units of home modification.
