<br />.' <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />.. <br />. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br /><"{~~l~> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII.- _ ':STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />BILL NO. 123 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 7, OF THE HAWAII <br />COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO THE VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 15, Article 7, of the Hawaii County <br /> <br />Code 1983, relating to the Veterans Advisory Committee, is <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Article 7. Veterans Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Section 15-61. Organization. There shall be a <br />committee composed of fifteen members, who shall be <br />appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council. Any <br />member of the committee may be removed by the Mayor with <br />the approval of the Council. <br /> <br />Section 15-62. Membership and Tenure. <br /> <br />(a) The members shall serve staggered terms of five <br />years. <br /> <br />(b) The membership of the committee shall include one <br />representative each from the American Legion, Big Island <br />National Guard Retirees Association, Big Island Retired <br />Military Association, Club 100, Disabled American <br />Veterans, [Fleet Reserve Association], Hawaii Island <br />Veterans Memorial. Inc. 442nd Veterans Association, Hilo <br />Interpreters Club[, Special Forces Association], Hawaii <br />Island Women Veterans Association, Veterans of Foreign <br />Wars, and the Veterans of the Vietnam War. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New <br /> <br />material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the <br /> <br />brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be <br /> <br />included. <br />
