<br />,.~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />,... <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />BILL NO. 123 <br />Draft 3 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97 125 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 7, OF THE HAWAII <br />COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO THE VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 15, Article 7, Section 15-62(b), Hawaii County Code 1983, <br /> <br />relating to membership of the Veterans Advisory Committee, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"(b) The membership of the committee shall include one representative each from the <br /> <br />American Legion, Big Island National Guard Retirees Association, Big Island Retired Military <br /> <br />Association, Club 100, Disabled American Veterans, [Fleet Reserve Association,] Hawaii Island <br /> <br />Veterans Memorial. Inc.. 442nd Veterans Association, Hilo Interpreters Club, Hawaii Island <br /> <br />Women Veterans Association.. Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Veterans of the Vietnam <br /> <br />War." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> <br />to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br /> <br />applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> <br />application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In <br /> <br />printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be included. <br />
