Ownership: Parker Ranch Inc. is the owner of the subject property. <br /> <br /> PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> 2. Request: The applicant is proposing to change the existing Agricultural land use <br /> <br /> designation to Urban for approximately 4.613 acres of land and a Change of Zone by <br /> changing the district classification from Agricultural (A-5a) to Single Family <br /> <br /> Residential (RS-10) and Village Commercial (CV-7.5) for approximately 11.469 acres. <br /> 3. Objectives: "The project area is part of the lands that were placed in the Parker Ranch <br /> <br /> Foundation Trust that was created upon the death of Richard Smart. The Trust was <br /> established to benefit the residents of Waimea through contributions to education, <br /> <br /> culture and health services. The beneficiaries of the Trust are Parker School, Hawaii <br /> Preparatory Academy, Lucy Henriques Medical Center, North Hawaii Community <br /> <br /> Hospital and the Hawaii Community Foundation. <br /> <br /> "If approved, the applicant intends to subdivide the proposed RS-10 zoned area into <br /> approximately 24 lots ranging in size from approximately 13,000 square feet to just <br /> <br /> under 20,000 square feet.
