Kenoi, dated March 13, 2009, requests <br /> confirmation and approval of the appointment of Randall M. Kurohara as the County of Hawaii <br /> Director of Research and Development. <br /> <br /> Several Council members expressed their support and confidence in Mr Kurohara's abilities and <br /> experience. <br /> <br /> All committee members present agreed that it would not be necessary for Mr. Kurohara to appear <br /> before the full Council for final confirmation. <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Human Services and Economic Development is in accordance with the <br /> purpose and intent of Communication 204 and recommends confirmation of the appointment of <br /> Randall M.
