(4) Within thirty feet of an intersection[;] or <br /> within the distance from an intersection required <br /> *o provide the minimum stopping distance for the <br /> ppctaA snPPd limit as provided for in the Hawaii <br /> Statewide Uniform Design Manual For Streets And <br /> Hiahwavs when special signs or markings are <br /> installed; <br /> (5) Within twenty feet of a driveway entrance to any <br /> fire station and on the side of the street <br /> opposite the entrance to any fire station within <br /> seventy-five feet of such entrance when properly <br /> marked; <br /> (6) Within seventy-five feet upon the approach to any <br /> traffic control signal except when designated by <br /> a parking stall; <br /> (7) At any place where special signs or markings <br /> prohibit standing; <br /> (8) Except where otherwise specifically provided for <br /> by ordinance applicable to driveways located upon <br /> the following streets, in front of or within <br /> thirty feet of any driveway located on Aupuni and <br /> Pauahi Streets in the City of Hilo; or <br /> (9) Within the turn-around area of a dead-end street, <br /> when special signs are erected. <br /> (b) The department of public works shall indicate by signs <br /> or by markings painted upon the curbings the areas <br /> within which parking has been prohibited by this <br /> division. <br /> SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material <br /> is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed <br /> <br /> material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the <br /> application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, <br /> such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of <br /> the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br /> provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this <br /> ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> -2- <br /> <br />
