(2) Law Grade 2 (LG-2), with steps "A" through "E," <br /> shall be the supervisory grade. <br /> <br /> Section 2-146. Law Grade 1. <br /> (a) Minimum qualifications Deputies in Law Grade 1 shall <br /> be admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of <br /> Hawaii. Additional qualifications may be required as <br /> the appointing authority deems necessary. <br /> (b) Initial placement within grade for inexperienced <br /> deputies Deputies with no legal work experience <br /> shall be placed initially in Step "A." <br /> (c) Initial placement within grade for experienced deputies <br /> Deputies with legal work experience may be placed <br /> initially in whatever step the appointing authority <br /> deems appropriate, provided that the step is no higher <br /> than the highest step to which the deputy could have <br /> advanced had the deputy begun employment with the <br /> County with no legal work experience. <br /> Section 2-147.
