The application shall be made on <br /> <br /> 4 a form setting forth the dates for which the permit shall be <br /> 5 valid, the location where the permitted activity is to occur, and <br /> <br /> 6 the name of the proprietor or, if a partnership, the name of the <br /> <br /> 7 partnership and the names of all partners or, if a corporation, <br /> <br /> 8 the name of the corporation and the names of its officers. The <br /> 9 permit application may be denied if the proposed use of fireworks <br /> <br /> 10 presents a substantial inconvenience to the public or presents an <br /> <br /> llunreasonable fire or safety hazard. Any permit issued pursuant <br /> 12 to this chapter shall be prominently displayed in public view at <br /> <br /> 13 the site. <br /> <br /> 14 SECTION 10. Section 132D-10, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is <br /> <br /> 15 amended to read as follows: <br /> 16 "1El5132D-10[]]• Permits. A permit shall be required for <br /> <br /> 17 the purchase[, setting off, ignition, or discharge] of: <br /> <br /> 18 (1) Any non-aerial common fireworks [when the proposed date <br /> 19 of the use of the fireworks is not within the periods <br /> <br /> 20 prescribed in section 132D-3(1); and] commonly known as <br /> <br /> 21 firecrackers upon payment of a fee of $25; and <br /> <br /> 22 (2) Any aerial common fireworks and any special fireworks <br /> 23 [under all circumstances and at any time.] for the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 2000-0592(B) SB680 CD1 SMA-11 <br />
