No. 930Bi11 No. 323 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:32 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was refeaed Bill No. 323, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 323, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No. 930, <br /> dated September 12, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the Capital Budget ending <br /> June 30, 2001, by reappropriating lapsed fuel tax funds and establishing the following district <br /> appropriations: <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DISTRICT AMOUNT <br /> Circle Island $ 557,317.42 <br /> Puna $ 334,004.05 <br /> South Hilo $ 292,868.59 <br /> North Hilo $ 1,386.64 <br /> Hamakua $ 933.00 <br /> South Kohala $ 47,629.92 <br /> North Kona $1,052,43 5.47 <br /> South Kona $ 698.08 <br /> TOTAL: $2,287,273.17 <br /> This ordinance reappropriates the lapsed 1988-92, 1994-96 and 1996-98 fuel tax district <br /> appropriations as shown on Exhibit A. Because the original amounts were established by <br /> formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds would be reappmpriated back to their <br /> respective districts. Allotments from these district appropriations shall be made to the specific <br /> projects listed on Exhibit B. <br /> FC REPORT NO. 373 <br /> <br />
