COUNTY OF HAWA.~ ~ , ~~~rTATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. s5 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 8, division 3, section 24-210, of the Hawaii County <br /> Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 24-210. Hours of freight loading zones; schedule. <br /> (a) The provisions regarding freight curb loading zones shall be applicable only between the <br /> hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. [of any day,] unless otherwise noted except on Sundays <br /> and public holidays. When the provisions are not in effect, vehicles may park in freight <br /> curb loading zones unless otherwise prohibited by this chapter. <br /> (b) The areas of streets described in schedule 36, section 24-288 are designated as <br /> freight-loading and unloading zones, when appropriate signs or markings giving notice <br /> thereof are erected. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (One way <br /> streets), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended <br /> by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> Punahoa Street. All vehicular traffic shall move in the Puna direction from Mamo Street <br /> to Ponahawai Street. <br /> ~ Punahoa Street. All vehicular traffic shall move in the Hamakua direction from Mamo <br /> Street to Furneaux Lane. <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28 (No parking <br /> at anytime), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), as <br /> amended, is amended as follows: <br /> O Punahoa Street, mauka side, [Ponahawai] Mamo Street to Fumeaux Lane. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
