SECTION 8. Chapter 24, article 10, division 7, section 24-289, schedule 37 (36 minute <br /> <br /> pazking meter zones), subsection (c) Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is <br /> amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> ~ Kamehameha Avenue mauka side, from Mamo Street to a point sixty feet in the <br /> Hamakua direction. <br /> ~ Mamo Street Hamakua side, between Kamehameha Avenue and Punahoa Street. <br /> ~ Mamo Street Puna side, Keawe Street to Kamehameha Avenue. <br /> SECTION 9. Chapter 24, article 10, division 7, section 24-291, schedule 39 (2 hour <br /> parking meter zones), of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), as amended, is amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> Section 24-291. Schedule 39.2 hour parking meter zones. <br /> Two hour parking meter zones are established upon those streets or portions of streets <br /> described in this schedule upon which the parking of vehicles shall be regulated by parking <br /> meters at the rate often cents per hour or a flat rate for up to two hours pursuant to section <br /> 24-216.01: <br /> (a) Hamakua <br /> (b) North Hilo <br /> (c) South Hilo <br /> (1) The old County Building Pazking lot located at the northeast comer of the <br /> Waianuenue Avenue and Keawe Street intersection. <br /> (2) The County pazking lot (Kamehameha Parking Lot) along the mauka side of <br /> Kamehameha Avenue between Kalakaua Street and Mamo Street. <br /> (3) Furneaux Lane, from Kilauea Avenue to Kamehameha Avenue. <br /> (4) Haili Street between Kamehameha Avenue and Kinoole Street. <br /> (5) Kalakaua Street. <br /> (6) Kamehameha Avenue, from Shipman Street to Waianuenue Avenue. <br /> (7) Kamehameha Avenue, from Waianuenue Avenue to Ponahawai Street, except for <br /> [active loading and unloading zone access] the 36 minute pazking meter zone on <br /> the mauka side from Mamo Street to a point sixty feet in the Hamakua direction[, <br /> on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as set forth in section 24-288.01, schedule 36.01, <br /> active loading and unloading zones]. <br /> (8) Keawe Street, from Wailuku Drive to Haili Street. <br /> (9) Kilauea Avenue, from Haili Street to Kukuau Street. <br /> (10) Kinoole Street, makai side, from Kalakaua Street to a point two hundred <br /> seventy-nine feet southeast of Mamo Street; mauka side, from Waianuenue <br /> Avenue to Haili Street. <br /> (11) Kinoole Street, makai side, the first ten stalls south of Ponahawai Street. <br /> (12) Kinoole Street, mauka side, between Haili Street and Mamo Street, five marked <br /> stalls in front of Farmers' Exchange. <br /> (13) Kinoole Street, mauka side, the first six stalls south of Ponahawai Street and <br /> Central Fire Station. <br /> 3 <br /> <br />
