<br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII , STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 284 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-257, schedule 5 (35 mile per <br /> hour limit), subsection (f) Kona, item (3), of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> (3) [Ka`Imi Nani Street] Ka`iminani Drive, Queen Kaahumanu Highway to <br /> Lau`i Street. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-257, schedule 5 (35 mile per <br /> hour limit), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is further <br /> amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> Ka`iminani Drive, .75 mile east of Lau`i Street to Route 190. <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 1Q division 1, section 24-260, schedule 8 (45 mile per <br /> hour limit), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by <br /> adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> Ka`iminani Drive Lau`i Street to a point .75 mile east. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> <br />
