the Hermit is issued: provided that not more than 5,000 individual non-aerial <br /> common fireworks shall be allowed under each permit. <br /> <br /> ~ Permits for the permissible uses of aerial common fireworks and special fireworks. <br /> Aerial common fireworks and snec•ial fireworks maXbe purchased, set off, ignited. <br /> or otherwise caused to explode within the Count~of Hawaii only if for public <br /> display and permitted in writine nursuant to section 14-30(dl. <br /> General permit provisions. Any n~°rson desiring a Hermit as described in section <br /> 14-29(a2sha11 obtain a permit issu°d by the department. The following_provisions <br /> shall apply to all permits: <br /> A Hermit maXonlXbe issued to a person e~hteen years of a eg or older. <br /> An application for a permit may be issued to an~nerson for cultural <br /> purposes. <br /> Permits are nontransferable, <br /> Permits are valid only whe~~ the fireworks are used at the site, time, and date <br /> so indicated on the permit. <br /> Permits shall be prominently dishlaved in public view at the site on the day <br /> at the time of the firine. <br /> A.permit maybe denied if the proposed use of fireworks presents a <br /> substantial inconvenience to the nublic or presents an unreasonable fire or <br /> safety hazard. <br /> If the permittee fails to remain in compliance with the requirements as set <br /> forth in these rules or in chapter 132D Hawaii Revised Statutes, the <br /> ~artment may immediate revoke the hermit. <br /> The date of issuance or effect and the date of expiration shall be noted on <br /> the Hermit but in no case shall the expiration date exceed the period of one <br /> year from the date of issuance or effect of the permit. <br /> -11- <br /> <br />
