The proposed changes expand concurrency requirements to include <br /> parks and recreational facilities and firefighting facilities. <br /> <br /> The resolution requests that the planning director and planning commissions, pursuant to <br /> subsection 25-2-43(b), submit comments and recommendations on the proposed zoning code <br /> amendments as set forth in the attached bill for an ordinance, or prepare a similar bill for an <br /> ordinance to create concurrency standards for public parks and recreational facilities, and fire- <br /> fighting facilities in change of zone actions. The resolution requests that the proposed bill for an <br /> ordinance be transmitted to the council for consideration and action within 120 days from the <br /> transmittal date of this resolution to the planning director. <br /> <br /> The draft bill showing the proposed modifications to section 25-2-46 related to concurrency <br /> requirements is attached as Exhibit "A."
