<br />r <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI'I STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 227 09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF <br />MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPIER FOR THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation <br />requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be <br />approved by resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawai'i wishes to enter multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a <br />copier for the Department of Finance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lease on the Accounts Division's current copier will be expiring soon so the division <br />wishes to enter into another lease for a multi-function copier; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new copier will also be shared by the Finance Administration and Budget Office, once <br />the move back to the County Building is complete. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDc8YTHE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I: <br /> <br />1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement for a copier <br />for the Department of Finance. <br />2.
