The Honorable J Yoshimoto, Chairman <br />and Members of the County Council <br />Page 8 <br />permit for residences in the Project. If third party fundingfor or at <br />least 50% of the construction cost for the segment of Road "4" that <br />is not within the State of Hawaii land is then available. Applicant <br />will fund the remainder of the construction cost and complete Road <br />"4" before the building permit for the 401" residential unit in the <br />Project is issued. The improvements for Road "4" shall be secured <br />by a $10,000,000 bond or other surety meeting with the approval of <br />the Planning Director to guarantee that the improvements will be <br />completed as required by this ordinance. The bond or other surety <br />shall be made prior to issuance of Final Subdivision Approval for <br />any subdivision in the Project containing a single family residential <br />lot. <br />g. Amend Condition EE, 1 <br />1. "Connectivity with the University of Hawaii 500 acre site: <br />applicant shall allow the University of Hawaii to connect with its <br />wastewater and water supply systems. Applicant shall also allow <br />the University of Hawai `i to connect electrical and <br />telecommunication systems to facilities installed within the project. <br />These connectivity sites shall be to the University's satisfaction <br />and located along its northern boundary on Road "I A". <br />h. Amend Condition PP: <br />"The applicant shall make its fair share contribution to mitigate the <br />potential regional impacts of the property with respect to parks and <br />recreation, fire, police, solid waste disposal facilities and roads. The fair <br />share contribution shall become due and payable on the sale or lease of <br />residential units subject to such contribution. The fair share contribution <br />shall have a maximum combined value of $6,411.25 per multiple family <br />residential unit ($9,991.20 per single family residential unit). The total <br />amount shall be determined with the actual number of units according to <br />the calculation and payment provisions set forth in this condition. The fair <br />share contribution per multiple family residential unit (single family <br />residential units) shall be allocated as follows: <br />I . $3,162.49 per multiple family residential unit ($4,817.93 per single <br />family residential unit) to the County to support park and <br />recreational improvements and facilities; <br />
