Comm. 398 <br />Page -2- <br />Pursuant to Chapter 15, Article 7, Section 15-61, Hawaii County Code, there shall be a Veterans <br />Advisory Committee composed of 15 members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed <br />by the Council. <br />Although Mr. Gaspar was not present at the meeting, Chair Yagong advised Deputy Corporation <br />Counsel Brandon Gonzales, who was present at the meeting, that the nominees are not required to be <br />present for the final confirmation at full Council. <br />Your Committee on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation recommends the appointment of <br />Emile W. Wery, David R. Carlson, Antonio T. Gaspar, and Don D.
