Torigoe <br />Deputy Director <br />MEMORANDUM <br />Ind DATE July 17, 2009 <br />U TO Colleen Schrandt, Legislative Auditor <br />FROM Lono Tyson, Director <br />SUBJECT: Fiscal Year 2008 Preliminary Draft Management Letter <br />We have reviewed the fiscal year 2008 draft Management Letter concerning the Collection of <br />Receivables and concur with the audit recommendations. <br />We are continuing to work with the Department of Finance and the Office of the Corporation <br />Counsel to improve collection efforts. <br />a To further increase our collection efforts, a new Credit and Collection Clerk position has been <br />created and is expected to be filled in August 2009. This new position will focus on the <br />collection of past due solid waste and sewer accounts.
