In the past, the Hawai'i County Council has provided such approval through <br />a motion made in accordance with a communication issued by its HSAC representative <br />providing the HSAC-selected nominee. <br /> <br />For this term, both Kaua'i County and the City and County of Honolulu have provided approval <br />by passage of a resolution. To be consistent with the procedure of our fellow counties, a similar <br />resolution has been submitted for approval by the Hawai'i County Council. <br /> <br />Due to time constraints, I am asking that this matter be waived from committee and placed on the <br />October 7, 2009 agenda of the full council. <br /> <br />DFO/kk <br />Attachment <br /> <br />"~e~. l~- C"t ~ <br /> <br />Comm.
