<br />COUNTY OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br /> <br />. STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 245 09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF <br />MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPIER FOR THE OFFICE <br />OF MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation <br />requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be <br />approved by resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawai'i wishes to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years <br />for a multi-function copier for the Office of Management (Mayor's Office); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the office is in need of a more technically advanced copier with faxing, scanning, and <br />network printing capabilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since their current copier is over 8 years old, the acquisition of the new copier should <br />increase the productivity and efficiency of this office. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I: <br /> <br />1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement for a copier <br />for the Office of Management. <br />2.
