No. 543/Res. 243-09 <br />Council Chambers <br />Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br />78-128 Ehukai Street <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i <br /> <br />DATE: <br />PLACE: <br /> <br />TIME: <br /> <br />10:45 a.m. <br /> <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawai'i County Council <br />Hilo, Hawai'i 96720 <br /> <br />Your Committee on Environmental Management, to which was referred Resolution 243-09, reports <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Resolution 243-09, transmitted by the Director of the Department of Environmental Management <br />Lono Tyson, via Communication No. 543, dated September 10, 2009, is a resolution authorizing the <br />extension of the public sewer from the UH Hilo entrance at parcel 2-4-056:017 to the intersection of <br />Leilani/Manono Street for the State ofHawai'i, University ofHawai'i at Hilo, Hawai'i. <br /> <br />At the October 6, 2009 Committee on Environmental Management meeting at the Sheraton Keauhou <br />Bay Resort and Spa, there were zero public testifiers regarding Communication 543 (Reso. 243-09). <br /> <br />Councilmember Yagong requested that Dora Beck, County ofHawai'i Wastewater Division Chief, <br />confirm that there would be no cost to the County ofHawai'i for this project.
