MSY~M <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI~1 STATE OF HAWAI't <br /> '+,;•o;•;,~r <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3Z,8 OO <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A MINIATURE <br /> HORSE <br /> WHEREAS, Mari-jo Allen has donated a Miniature Horse for the Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Miniature Horse, with an estimated value of TWO THOUSAND FNE HUNDRED <br /> DOLLARS ($2,500.00) will be used for educational and display purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br /> behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends acceptance of this generous <br /> donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that, <br /> in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawai i County Charter, it accepts the Miniature Horse. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mari-jo Allen, P.O.
